A dash of New York cool came to Leeds in the shape of the Vivian Girls. Any band with a Ramone in them is worth listening to in my book. Great bill with three other bands on too - Great value for money!

45 is an important year in the life of a vinyl addict so to celebrate mine, I put on a gig at my favourite venue featuring 2 of my favourite bands. Los Altibajos brought Cuban sunshine to a wintery night and The Mandrills rocked the joint with a brace of fabulous cover versions. The weather took its toll on the numbers who could attend, but not on the fun inside. Report here….

1st gig of a new decade saw Bradfords Sex Patels Rock the house with their indian covers, then morph into the funky Rats for a second set. With the Chumbawambas in residence, it felt like a private NYE party. Review here

Having reached 45 (and feeling brimful of Asha) we convened a meeting with Food + Drink as the theme. A veritable smorgasbord of musical delights was served up, piping hot with plenty of booze to wash it down - A top night!
